BOLD – Washington’daki National Museum of Women in the Art müzesinin görevlileri arasında yer alan Mara Kurlandsky ve Adriebbe Poon’ın #MuseumsThankHealthHeroes etiketiyle başlattığı sanat kampanyası büyüyor.
#MüzelerSağlıkKahramanlarınaTeşekkürEdiyor kampanya kapsamında her müze tıpla ilgili sanatsal eserleri paylaşıyor. Kampanya çerçevesinde bazı müzeler koleksiyonlarından resimleri paylaşırken bazılar da tıbbi koleksiyonlarındaki hemşire şapkası, stetoskop ve Bayan Davies’in hemşire kiti gibi eserleri yayınladı.
1 Nisan’da başlayan kampanyasının ilk paylaşım Mary Ellen Mark’ın 2012 tarihli fotoğrafı “Nurses Working, Novartis – China” (Novartis’te Çalışan Hemşireler – Çin).
Whitney Museum’un Edward Hopper’ın 1900 tarihli resmi “Study of a Nurse and Child Walking in the Park” (Parkta Yürüyen Bir Hemşire ve Çocuk Çalışması) katıldığı kampanyaya Atlanta’daki The High Museum of Art, Boston’daki Museum of Fine Arts, Chicago History Museum, Museum at FIT, Guggenheim Museum gibi ünlü müzeler de yer aldı.

Today #MuseumsThankHealthHeroes for everything they do! In "Country Doctor" (~1933–1939), also known as "Night Call," a country doctor leads his horse & covered cart, presumably to tend to a patient. Pippin’s painting quietly celebrates the dauntless and gallant doctor, as do we. pic.twitter.com/KC0kPBpdwq
